The City of Havana Volunteer Fire Department serves a rural community of 1505 (2020 Census) residents in 81 square miles and is located approximately 75 miles northwest of Little Rock, AR. Our department has _________ active volunteers that provide structural and wildland firefighting as well as first responders for accidents in our community. We have 2 fire stations. One is located next to the City Hall building in Havana, and the other is located near Moore’s Chapel in Waveland. The city’s insurance rating is a Class _________. There are 15 Volunteer fire departments located throughout Yell County that provide fire protection to all other county residents. The Havana Fire department responds on an as-needed basis outside of the city.
